Holli Franklin, a parent at Washington-Parks Academy, lost her sixteen year old son a year and a half ago in a tragic car accident. Through this tragedy, Holli has created the Michael D. Yost Jr. Scholarship that raises money to send area students to college. Something Holli will never be able to do for her son who passed away. We are so proud of Holli, her spirit, and her strength.
