What’s your best memory of your own school days?
My best memory of my school days is the support that my large family received from our school community. My grandmother raised my six siblings and me by herself. We all went to private school. I still don’t know how she accomplished that feat. Our school community was like a family to us. I’ll never forget that support.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
Something that most people don’t know about me is that I consider myself a “cat lady” and I prefer a good book to TV on any day!
What’s your professional superpower?
My professional superpower is being ten places at once. I have no idea how I accomplish half of the things I accomplish. I’m always busy. I would not know how to function without ten things on my plate.
How do you empower your students to live their complete life?
I empower my students to live their complete lives by instilling in them that they are extraordinary human beings who can accomplish ANY task that they put their minds to…I want my students to truly believe that greatness is in their DNA!
What’s the one word your students would use to describe you?
I think a word that my students would use to describe me is “dedicated.” My students know how hard I work for them and how much love them. I can’t imagine myself doing anything else besides loving and teaching these babies. They need me and I need them.
