Driving Reading Excellence Across Detroit

Reading is the gateway to success in life, and yet for too many Detroit children, it remains out of reach. Cornerstone has launched a three-year initiative to change that reality. The goal is ambitious but clear: within three years, Cornerstone aims for its students to become the best readers in Detroit.

How Success for All Works

Cornerstone’s new reading initiative is powered by the nationally recognized Success for All Foundation — a proven model for literacy that pairs research-based curriculum with intensive teacher training, coaching, and daily tutoring.

📚Research-based curriculum designed to accelerate early literacy growth.

👩‍🏫In-depth teacher training and in-class coaching to build excellence in instruction.

🧠Daily tutoring & small group instruction by reading level to accelerate growth.

⚙️Systems & accountability embedded to sustain results long after the program launch.
